This is a Shire of SJ project that has addressed the drainage issues in the Chestnuts area. The site is pure gravel and the species are all local natives of the Jarrah forest.
Direct seeding will follow, to fill the gaps – gravel sites are usually successful seeding sites. Depending on the kangaroos, which are abundant in the area!
The revegetation and earthworks have been funded by the State NRM .
