Reduce your carbon footprint by growing your own vegies

Community Urban Agriculture Education Program

Join us for a brand-new, fun, and interactive series of workshops learning how to grow vegetables in your garden. Held once a month, the program covers multiple topics to help you be a successful veggie grower in our unique West Australia environment. Supported by Serpentine and Jarrahdale Shire Community Grant, the free to all comer’s community project, runs until March 2023. Doesn’t matter if you are a new gardener or an old hand at veggie growing, all are welcome. This unique community program seeks to produce excess amount of organic nutrient dense produce to go out on the weekly share trolley and to the Free Food Pantry held on a Thursday at 155 Warrington Rd Byford (The old location, Baptist Church on SW Highway).

You can find further details about the community project on Byford Glades Community Garden FaceBook or email the garden at bgcgarden@gmail.com
