The Enviro-Link has used this as an opportunity to introduce native species to the area – in this case, a nice mixture of marri trees and local shrub species, all of which will provide shade, shelter, and habitat for fauna such as honeyeaters, western wattle birds, splendid wrens, thornbills and eventually bandicoots.
