School kids give Percy Nairn Reserve a new old look

Landcare SJ hosted this year’s Schools National Tree Day 2022 at Percy Nairn Reserve in Byford Eaton Farm School and Byford Child Care Centre have supported this event for several years. This year 12 children and carer’s attended attended from Byford. Years one to four came from Eaton FS along with their teachers and parents.

Byford gets a new park

Byford Enviro-link watered the plants in Granfell St and Marchant Way and also the new park proposed to be called Marri Tree Park this morning. Council has agreed to the name and this request is being progressed through government channels.
