Byford Envirolink members have been busy in this small reserve between Gordin, Grenfell and Velveteen Streets in Byford over the last few months.
69 bags of rubbish have been removed, also a burnt out motor bike and dead branches.
Most of the understorey has now disappeared because of weed infestation. These have now been sprayed or removed by BEL
The great news is that Byford Progress Association has set aside funds for some native shrubs to be planted in this area next year and locals will be able to enjoy another small piece of bushland.
