• Weed ID and Advice Workshop

    The Peel Harvey Biosecurity Group are seeking to deliver information and upskill the local community through the upcoming Weed ID and Advice Workshop.

    The FREE workshop will be held at the Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Resource Centre, 2 Paterson St, Mundijong from 12 pm to 4 pm Thursday the 3rd September.

    Hosted by weed experts Greg Keighery, Order of Australia recipient, and Principal Ecologist Andrew Mitchell who will work through local weed issues and specimens brought in by attendees.

    The workshop is informative and interactive suitable for front end staff taking community reports and weed issues, operations teams out in the field, NRM professionals, enthusiastic individuals and landholders.

    All attendees receive the perfect companion to weed identification and control - the Southern Weeds and their Control booklet and there will be a light lunch and networking opportunity beforehand.
