River Road Fox Control Workshop

20 November, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Is your property within the home range of a Red Fox?

Did you know that foxes pose a health risk to humans and pets, through transmission of disease such as distemper, parvo virus and mange?

In affected areas, sheep owners can lose up to 40% of newborn lambs in one season.

The Red Fox is a Declared Pest and can be tricky to control without the right tools and knowledge.

It’s never too late to learn a new skill and Landcare SJ has enlisted the help of the Peel-Harvey Biosecurity Group to provide you with the opportunity to learn from experienced fox controllers at a local property in Serpentine on Friday 20 November.

It will be a couple of hours of your time and you will be given loads of practical tips and info, and go home with some useful resources.

The workshop is supported by the Peel-Harvey Catchment Council through funding from the Alcoa Foundation Restoring the Serpentine River Project and Three Rivers, One Estuary Initiative.
