Due to the wetland nature of the Swan Coastal Plain, many areas within the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale experience seasonal water inundation or waterlogged soils. Planting local native trees and shrubs can help to soak up unwanted water.
The weather on Friday the 3rd June was perfect for an outdoor field day on private property in Serpentine.
