Cockatube Monitoring Update

Over the past month Landcare SJ have been monitoring Cockatubes installed around the Peel region. On one monitoring event, undertaken with the Peel-Harvey Catchment Council and Birdlife WA, seven Cockatubes were inspected, three hens were flushed from the hollows, and 13 eggs were recorded. A possum was also recorded making full use of one of the hollows. Further monitoring will be undertaken over the next two months into the breeding.
