This site was once a sea of arum lily! A State NRM grant in 2012 begun the process of removing the weeds and restoring the area with native species. This beautiful site is a Shire reserve and located next to the beautiful Serpentine River, which can be accessed by the public at this location.
Over the past few years the Serpentine Primary School has assisted with planting which will be added to this year on Schools’ National Tree Day.
The SJ LCDC is contributing to the cost of weed control and seedlings at Federation Park.
Park at the Old Bridge School at the junction of Gordon Rd and SW Hwy Serpentine.
